RANCHO CORDOVA | 2017 | RESTAURANT
The goal of this project is to maximize the efficiency of the restaurant through the expansion of the dining area and the kitchen. As a two-story building, it was crucial to retain the existing structure while seamlessly integrating the renovation. The solution was to transform the patio into the new dining area by enclosing the space with windows and walls. The newly added area continued the existing structure’s exposed ceiling beams and exterior facade. To accommodate the increase in dining seating, the kitchen was renovated to enhance work productivity. An open floor plan was created by relocating the walk-in freezer and cooler as well as the staff washroom.
