Home of the famous “orange sauce”, South Bay icon La Victoria Taqueria is a family-owned business that is a favorite of many Mexican cuisine enthusiasts. Looking to relocate their Hayward branch, the clients found a vacant spot on the same street. The renovation consists of demolishing the existing building, adding a new partially enclosed patio, creating an onsite trash enclosure, enhancing the site landscaping, and upgrading the asphalt pavement. The new 3,200 square feet building is designed in a contemporary style with floor-to-ceiling windows and a stone veneer finish. It is also a part of Hayward’s Development Pipeline project which aims to densify the city by adding 1000+ housing units and new commercial businesses.
